Strange to be in the middle of a disaster area.... So many forced life changes going on.
 
Sad to see the losses and uplifting to see how so many people pitch in to deal with the many issues created.
 
I think we see some of the best of humanity when these crisis occur...

Glad to hear you're safe Keni. Wish it were possible to send you some of the leftover flood water from here in Florida. We have more than enough to go around.

I lived in Eureka and later Cotati for a time.  Drove through Willits often.  Can't quite fathom the amount of fire damage.  Glad you are okay, Keni.

I lived in the Eureka/Fortuna/Ferndale area in the late 80s/early 90s (stationed at Centerville).  I can understand how hard fire would be to contain.
