Hi all,

Been a while since I posted anything new, but here's the latest track from my 'Weirdstone' project;

Nice piece of work James sounds well here, unless my furry ears are still lying to me, Bass is nicely understated but present (if that makes sense).  Good job from both of you.

Is weirdstone your rock opera? This was a nice piece.

This is a good instrumental, topped off by good performances.  Overall, it sounds a little thin to my ears, but all the parts are there and easily heard.  Don't trim all the fat, it's OK to have some midrange.

Any time Ed, always a pleasure.

Sounds good on lappy speakers. Glad to see the project is still alive and well - I sent you a message about it via your site during your forum absence and never heard anything back, so I thought it might have been shelved.

Thanks Robby. Dunno about 'opera' as such, it might be one o' them dreaded 'concept albums' though

Thanks Lynn. Interesting about the mid-range, haven't done much eq work yet, apart from HPF's on all the guitars & synths. Maybe I overdid that, will take a look.
