Hey James!

Really like this one as well. I too hear some slight timing drift, and I suspect it is in your cajon loop.  Guitars are awesome, as is the bass. Nice flavors in the background as well. Well done!

Dan

hey james
great moody piece. perfect airy production as ever.
some of the bass/guitar runs seem a bit off tempo from around 2'05. again when the electric guitar comes in, the whole thing is a bit shaky timing wise.
anyhow. love the music.

Great to see you Mark! Thanks a lot for checking this out, glad you enjoyed it, shaky or not. When are we going to hear something new from you?

Nice. Really liked the guitar around the 2 minute mark.

Soft & Mellow, drifty but kept interest throughout with evolving instruments and melodic patterns.

Like sven said, personally too I wanted some hard drum hits to come out,@2:15 they are too soft I reckon.

Regards,

Cian

Thanks Cian, and nice to see you around again!

A nice, dreamy tune. The bass (?) is sometimes a little off beat, or is it the drums? Otherwise good job on the recording.

Thanks Lasse!

Very nice number indeed!  I might agree a bit with the comments above concerning the drums -- especially when the more up-tempo parts kick in.  However, having said that, this piece really stands well on its own.
Nice one!

Very nice piece of music showing both of your musician and writing skills.

I found with the playback from box.com the bass was a little forward in someplaces, however I downloaded it, (that means I listend twice), and found that played back much more ballanced.

Thanks for sharing

PS Was that really Ed playing bass, I mean it was actually quite good

This is pretty cool.  It kind of sounds like a fusions of ambient and rock with a reggae influence.

I've listened to a couple of your compositions James and I am very much enjoying your style. Your musical ideas are always interesting, and captivating. Look forward to more of this one.

Well thanks very much Wayne, that's really nice of you.
