Liked this James. The guitar tone fits it well and comes across clean and well mixed. The changes added interest. Very nice all round.

Thank you very much Tim!

Hey James!

Really like this one as well. I too hear some slight timing drift, and I suspect it is in your cajon loop.  Guitars are awesome, as is the bass. Nice flavors in the background as well. Well done!

Regards,
Dan

Thanks Dan. I'll dig into the timing when I come to mix all these tunes again pre-mastering.

Very nice number indeed!  I might agree a bit with the comments above concerning the drums -- especially when the more up-tempo parts kick in.  However, having said that, this piece really stands well on its own.
Nice one!

Thank you Freddy

Very nice piece of music showing both of your musician and writing skills.

I found with the playback from box.com the bass was a little forward in someplaces, however I downloaded it, (that means I listend twice), and found that played back much more ballanced.

Thanks for sharing

PS Was that really Ed playing bass, I mean it was actually quite good

Thanks John, that's very interesting about the playback on Box, I'll bear that in mind.

This is pretty cool.  It kind of sounds like a fusions of ambient and rock with a reggae influence.

Thanks 'R' . Ambient & rock, yep..not sure about a reggae influence, but hey, if you enjoyed it that's fine by me.

reminding me of Thomas Dolby's "flat earth"...until the distorted guitar crashed the party at 02:07. personally I liked the tune more before the guitar crashed, but this is just my humble opinion

Thanks Tom. Don't know that track, but I like Dolby's work.

Hi, James,

This is another very classy sounding musical journey filled with beautiful melodies and tasty guitar work!

I'm on my third listen.  I absolutely love the crystal clear guitar tone at the beginning and also the "creamy" lead tone that comes in after the distorted guitar at around 5:02, and the Edster did a bang-up job on the smooth bass lines.

Maybe a few simple cymbal swells and splashes would add a touch of drama to the section where the distorted guitar comes in without having to go crazy adding drums.  The percussion seems to carry the song through nicely, though.

Another excellent instrumental, James, and beautiful writing and playing, as always from you!

Best Wishes,
Bob
