Hi Robbie - glad you liked it.  This was my first real orchestration in the sense that I scored all the notes except for the snare drum which I played live.

All the best,

The orchestral underscore really made this shine Jimmy, that's very nice work indeed.

Hi James.  Thank you much for the nice compliment.  I learned a lot and was pretty happy with Notion 4.  I printed the piano part out and gave it to my piano player in the worship team to see how easily he could play it.  I can't read notes but can read drums/percussion so most of this was ear training.

Jimmy,

You have inspired me with this song.  In several ways.  First and foremost with the great message in this song. The final way is that you have given me the drive to start working with You Tube and learning to create video.

This is a very touching song Sir.  I like melancholy songs, they make me feel more.  The orchestration is excellent as well as the mix!  It gets just a little wordy at "There are moments in time that keep the memories alive".  I would say "Moments in time,  memories alive".  But it's great the way it is.  Actually, the lyrics are very beautiful.  Very nicely done sir!!

Thank you MakeShift.  Many that contribute here at this forum inspire me as well.  We can posts many different kinds of songs and so many take the time to listen and give genuine comments back.  That is important to me especially when writing a song sensitive in nature.

I too have found YouTube to be the best sounding media for songs and it doesn't take much to create the video.

All the best.

Ralph - I appreciate your comments and glad you found meaning in the song.  Sometimes I just let the lyrics do the talking without editing for professional presentation.  I think that has come about with me getting older!

Thanks again.
