Hello All! Anyone out there using the Waves H-Delay. I can't get the stereo versions to actually output a stereo delay. I can get mono delays but the Ping Pong mode stays mono. I know there are three versions: mono/mono, mono/stereo and stereo/stereo. It also tends to switch the stereo interleave to mono on that channel. Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong?  I figured I'd ask you fine folks first before I reach out to Waves.

Are you using it with stereo tracks?

Nope, I have a mono guitar track so I'm using the Mono/Stereo delay instance.

Make sure your interleave is set to stereo.

Yeah, I checked the stereo interleave and it was..

Then it might be best to put the H-Delay on a Stereo Bus and send that channel
to the bus...so that you get the full stereo effect...just a thought...

It switches the interleave to mono? Strange.
Are you using VST 3?
VST3 did have a problem with mono in previous Sonar versions but I thought that was fixed now.
Try the VST 2 and see if that solves the stereo problem.

I've never seen a plugin switch the interleave. I'd think that was beyond the scope of what a plugin can do.

SONAR, however, will switch the interleave to mono if you import a mono track, as it should. But if you want to use a stereo effect on that track, you'll need to change it to stereo.

I did try inserting a stereo buss but it still stayed mono. I've since contacted Waves. Waiting to hear back.
