i'm the ghost of you
and i know what you do
i know your every move
'cause i'm on it
i know what you think
i know your favorite drink
i know your favorite kink
'cause i'm on it
spectral finder keeper fees, a percentage of your nectar

you're the death of me
you are my one disease
and i'm your effigy
don't you even think
that you'll have time to blink
that you'll have time to think
i'm the ghost of you oh....

Lynn
Daren, it's good to see you again.  The  drums and bass and all else sound terrific.  I love the fade-in - there aren't nearly enough these days.  The vocal ping ponging around the 1:00 mark are nicely arranged, and I like the delay, too.  The guitar break at the 3:00 mark sounds very "Frippish" to me, with those lovely scales you play.  Even though the song has a wall of sound quality to it, I can hear each instrument clearly in its own space.  The ending is fun and well done.  I know your philosophy about vocal levels, so I think you achieved your goals.  All in all, you've made a dark, manic song very entertaining to listen to.

Having said all that, how about coming over to my place, laying down on my couch, and talking about your childhood? ;)  Your well of inspiration is quite deep!

Starise
Hi Daren,

You did a great job with the arrangement . The guitars are coming through well although more in the low ranges. Being someone who plays at guitar I would probably eq the guitars just a little bit more mid rangey, so they bite a little bit more, but that's just me.

Oh and  I could try to get you some help for that demon problem.

Very cool - the vox could stand being less buried, but I seem to remember saying that before about nne of yours, stylistic thing I guess......I just like to be able to understand the words without having to follow the lyric (yeah, old fart, I know !)

Vintage sound...very nice.  Love the guiitar sound gutsy...Big Marshal/Les Paulish.  Vocal effects are great...I had fun listening.  Thanks for Sharing.

Great feel to this song. I agree with Starise, would've like more midrange grit to the guitars so they played more with the vocal. But my preference only. I like the vocal.
