I need a second pair of ears on this mix before I commit to it.  I'm a little concerned that it may be too bright overall.  And above all, is the mix ok?  Also, would these levels be typical before it's mastered?

Sounds about right to me, but I'd bring the vocals out more.  Having said that, please get other more experienced opinions. 

Yep, bring the vocals up front more, the rest sounds pretty good and not to bright.

I don't think the mix is too bright. The vocals are well sung but not up front enough in the mix.

What the others said.  Other than that, the beginning and ending are rather abrupt ;)

Vocals need to be out front more for sure. I think there also should be separation (panning) in the background instrumentation. It's all too centered IMHO.  Vocals sound very good on my set up garrett!

Alright guys, I listened to the feedback!  I also thought my last mix was probably a little bass heavy.  The vocal STILL may need to be a little more up front in this one.  But it's getting late, and I think I'm getting closer.
 
Sorry for the abrupt splices at the beginning and end.  I'm doing a quick splice on a mac for the sake of time (I'm not at my studio computer).  I'm also only showing the last chorus of the song.

Apart from the vocals which everyone seems to agree on, I thought a little more separation with some EQ might help clarify the mix, but it's hard to tell without listening in context with the rest of the song. It might be just perfect the way it is. Will keep an eye out for a complete version if you are going to post.
