Jeff,

Will definitely leave them up for download. The church warp was time extended by splicing sections of the wav at a negligible zero crossing places with minimum decay so that chugs and pops didn't happen. Results in a church way longer than a normal church could resonate.

The Scotland wave however is real and no effects applied. Can't remember who did the recording, but was from an underground oil tank used in WW II. Claimed to be the longest reverberation trail of any physical environment yet discovered. The decay was so long, I cut off about 30 seconds that has historic value, but way in excess of anything practical in music production.

Best,
John

Guys,

Know you have been spending sleepless nights in savage anticipation for this…

Wait no more!!!

World famous  “mangled.wav”  IR has been improved and ready to load into any stereo convolution reverb engine....if Tinyupload works...

The original was awesome (as all will agree), but mono. Latest upgrade does an actual time stretch on one channel. This throws the light flange out of sync dynamically and provides a much better depth response than previously posted, which had a straight but non interesting several millisec delay between the channels.

May anyone find this useful or at least unique. Sounds damn cool from here in Reverberate.

So.... what does Reverberate 2 do that EW Spaces or Rematrix (full) doesn't do?

I admit I'm not a reverb aficionado.

Good bloody question. Have to plead dirt ignorance about Rematrix or EW. Don't have either of them. Maybe nothing to be realized as far as an advantage with Reverberate as long as a stereo impulse can be loaded and some control over the mod, time stretch, normal ADSR envelopes. Independent loading of  L/R IR routing which produces some desirable and unique effects. Very extensive eq control on Reverberate, about as good as Reaper's native eq.

Even Freeverb has a stereo engine for free. May work as well without the expense with a few less bells and whistles.

Just updated Reverberate since I had ver 1 and seemed like the right thing to do.  Ver 2 definitely has some spatial improvements over whatever they explain about what's happening with their new stereo routing algos.

Excellent engine that will take a lot of time before it goes out of style.

Guess in my introspective journey as of late, if I had the same hard on creative insight I had when I was 16 years old... I would have died for a free reverb vst from 10 years ago and blown everything out of the water available today or tomorrow.

Not to be a downer, but suspect a lot of us like me are just accumulating debt and new plugs with nothing to show for it.
