Thanks for all the feedback, folks. I couldn't resist it at  $59.46, but haven't had a chance to play with it yet. It didn't show up right away (purchased 12/31/15) and on New Years Day I Facebook'd PSP and they responded within minutes, saying they'd put it in my account. That's service!
I really like all the PSP plugs I've got(14? or maybe 15 now), so I jumped just because of the price and how much I love plates! LOL

You will not be disappointed. Micronized A/B with Valhalla and whereas it did about the same thing, couldn't edit out the thickness that lets you know that a reverb is there. Not necessarily a bad thing, and Valhalla Plate is superb.

To Jeff's question about Reverberate 2, and IMHO only.

A bit more difficult workflow-wise to dial in the same subtlety, but got a head to head equality if that was what I was looking for. Not chasing a clone to something else, Reverberate 2 has more options regarding pitch shift, modulation and advanced control over the eq spectrum. Plus the ability to load vast libraries of IR's. Reverberate can do PSP, but can do a lot of other spaces as well.

PSP is really exquisite. If the wife doesn't make me sleep on the back porch for a week again for buying software, PSP is the next credit card drain.

Best to all of you,

I tested again yesturday and i m having better results with lexicon room with the emt 250 and 150 algo...but 244 , psp is better .... The lex gives me more density in the dybamic field (front to back ). Witch gives me more depth and 3 d while psp is more spacious upfront bu not the same depth ... I m puzzle ...sure it s sound good but less classy than those lex guerrilas ....

Zo,

Got to agree. Lexicon dialed in right covers a lot of ground.

Another example of why I'm resisting PSP, as beautiful as it is.

Nice post by Larry somewhere about how if we don't already have the tools to do the job, more tools are useless and we have to rethink where we are in the creative process.

Another post from some warrior about how we get the initial rush of a new plug, use it a couple times, and it recedes into darkness while we chase the next latest, greatest credit card burn. We tend to retain no short term memory regarding what we have already forgotten we have. The pile continues to grow and we are made no better, maybe less for the accumulation.

Catch word in my primitive vocabulary is "excess".

Said before that the ancient rock n' roll masters had a tone control and a spring reverb, tremolo if living on the complex edge of technology. Only so much time in that transparent era to spin knobs around to refine the sound. Combined with high dollar per hour studio fees, you had to create music.

Not to bash modern technology, but are we getting lost away from the primary purpose we think we need this stuff for.

Totally true ... This is something i face for students lost in this process ....

I try to explain them , when they smartly reply " zo you preach limitation but you own every damn plugins ..." But i make understand that i have like 5 projects a years ( albums) and i want options but when i start to work , the material then i really restrected , sticking with one or two specific templates for that projects to maintain the direction , color , feel ect ....also i emphasise the fact that we learned and progressed with limitation and we see it as a gift ( since it forces creativity , us to master our tools , and to go straight to the art with minimum rationality) while they take limitation as a negative thing ....

To go back on the psp , while the sound is not some to die for for us seasoned guyz , the workflow totally validate its conscious and valid consideration ....this aspect to re emphasize what you just said ... Limitation is key , tools that make gain time by erradicating ratinoality of tweaking to let you in the instinct area are always welcome ....this psp imho answer this
