i did that painting.... it's pretty crude, i'm not a painter, but i had a clear vision.....
the idea is either: falling from the light to the dark, or, rising from the dark to the light.
viewer decides which way works for them......

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Clear vision.
Crude or not, I know there are many that wish their "crude" material looked that good.
I like to look at it as rising from the darkness into the marvelous light.   Just my optimistic approach to things.
