I wouldn't be to quick to judge. It's not like a woman hasn't ever been pissed off and lied about something. I'll bet you this gets settled quickly and goes away. Regardless if he did it or not.

It's not meant to be "judged" ... since all of us have our own frustrations, but sometimes a lot of perspective is missing ... and hearing Iman say ... I married Davy Jones, not David Bowie ... is actually a very nice thing to hear and say ... that the artist knew the difference between his art and his life. He could still be an artist in his life, but his life is not to be confused with the rest.

With the star cult in California and America, these folks ... are actually really mean. If the station whose roommate I lived with was any indication, they all had bigger cocks and at the time everyone had to ____ it to make sure you knew who was the star! Don't tell me about Steely Dan or Kiss for that matter ... but then, heck, you do know what the name of the band stands for, right? ... and when you get old, that dildo gets a bit boring, or not useful anymore!

Who's judging who?

I guess this is being directed at me for some reason? Apparently you found my comment insulting in some way (or maybe you didn't), but I'm not sure I understand why. I'm a fan of both Bowie and Steely Dan. They will always be relevant because they made good stuff. Their personal life and age has nothing to do with audio.

Read that 60 times and it still doesn't make any sense. Are you Thomas The Tank Engine?

Not at all ... my thoughts are that these people are no different than you or I, and that they should not be given special rights, which they can abuse, left and right. And I'm telling you ... that at least a couple of bands ... DID ... that I am aware of. So, later, seeing this ... is not a surprise ... in fact, I'm totally aghast that it did not happen before!

That's an unfair generalization to make. Just because a few artists have abused their fame doesn't mean that they're all at it. It's like painting all cops with the same brush because a few abuse their power, or calling all teachers pedophiles because of a few highly publicized cases of teachers plooking pupils (now there's a tongue twister).

Sharke, I didn't take it like that........"all" artists abuse their fame.....rather that all these musicians "are no different than you or I", and anyone can easily fall into these type of situations. He mentioned only a couple of bands that he was aware of and that doesn't justify in painting it with a broad brush......rooight?

I was referring to this part:

"So, later, seeing this ... is not a surprise ... in fact, I'm totally aghast that it did not happen before!"

That would suggest a certain level of generalization yes? If you were "not surprised" and "totally aghast that it did not happen before."

I see what you mean......obviously I can't speak for Pedro, but him being pessimist doesn't help the cause.

Cool. I didn't think I said anything that could be taken that way. It's hard to decipher the typed word sometimes.
