Got to see him twice on the serious moon light tour.  (Tubes and Peter Gabriel too..!)
One of the great voices for the feelings of the outsider.
I have had Life on Mars running through my head for the last 24 hours.

RIP Mr Bowie.

Was too upset to think about this yesterday - only way to deal with it has been Bowie all day today - just listening to Heathen, one of my favorite later albums.
Just ordered Blackstar although having watched the video of Lazarus, could be a bit hard going - to think, no more Bowie magic and originality...never.....hard to take it in.........

I just got his last dvd a few months ago. David Bowie was a true giant. Probably one of the top 10 artist of the 20th century. He's right up there with anyone I can think of.
His latest two videos are pretty disturbing, but also artistically excellent. I will own Black star.

I just had a walk past his building earlier, this is what it looks like outside, thought it was pretty cool.

Well I'm giving Blackstar a listen right now on Spotify and I'm blown away. The man was unique and original to the end. Excellent song writing, superb vocal performance, fantastic arrangements, great playing and top quality production. It sounds great.

Sharke, that's great to hear, thought it might be a bit bleak - have to wait for a few weeks to pick mine up when I pass through the UK - not a CD that shops here will stock unfortunately!!
Still Bowie day here - Man who sold the World - one of my favorite early albums

I didn't find it too bleak, but maybe that's because I have a high bleak tolerance to begin with
