Anyone use the Hammersmith from Sonicouture?  Seems pretty good and with the 35% discount, it's reasonably priced.

I'm working on a score for an independent film and need a decent piano.  Any other recommendations?  I don't want to break the bank.  I was thinking about some of NI's products, however it pains me to buy their stuff when it's not during their 50% off sales...

Something under $100 would be good.  About $50 would be awesome!

Hammersmith is $83ish with the discount...

Thinking of that juan two. The standard version is cheapest at AudioDeluxe, you can get it there for $58 upon login with the automatic coupon. That's less than half price.

Awesome!  Thanks for the tip - for that price, I think it's definitely worth a try.  Just ordered it...

I'm not familiar with the Hammersmith instrument, but just the description of how they sampled the sustain is enough to get me to add it to my wish list. Definitely going to have to give it a go.

Edit: So, of course, there are 2 editions, with the Pro edition being twice the price. The difference? 4 additional mic positions (no Mid mics in standard edition; one close; one room) and 52 GB of samples vs 19 GB. Sigh.

Not sure if True Pianos still comes with Sonar but that's my go-to piano. I did upgrade and get the full version but the one that came with Sonar was very useful. The full version is currently 40% off and costs $80 right now. Their website has plenty of audio samples. Good luck!

Please post your feedback, once you've had a chance to play the VI for a bit. Thanks in advance.

I use XLN Addictive Keys. Rather long in tooth but still delivers!

wow, their demos sounded insanely good.  I don't use much piano, but this sounds so good to convince me to rethink.

Just adding some feedback of my own regarding SonicCouture. I have their EP73 and Broken Wurli. Those are some of the best sampled electric keys I have, together with the NI ones, although Neo-Soul Keys from GospelMusicians still reigns.
As for SonicCouture, I think I'm gonna get Imogen Heap's Box of Tricks, 30 gig of sounds.
