The only complication there is the different types of markers. For example you might not want to move the markers that are pitch markers, but do want to move the ones that indicate something of interest in the track.
I think the Cubase style is really useful - you can have up to 10 marker tracks - one active at one time.
This covers markers you might use for recording positions while doing that, and other marker track that stays with time positions when doing video etc - ability to have separate timebase for each.
Almost all navigation for me in timeline is through next/previous marker - so excellent way to change to another marker track as project evolve. When recording I find it better to set a marker for the position you use as start - rather than standard pre-roll and similar options. So having those markers on different tracks - you have that active that is appropriate right now.
Very, very, very......very useful - and not hideous amount of work for how it helps and assist you.
And ability for ripple edit to have toolbar option -
is it available for the custom module - don't remember if everything shows up in that part?
So at least have a text toggle button - if that is possible. Not entirely up to date on Sonar these days.
Believe both ProTools and Reaper has toolbar option for ripple edit so you see if active or not with a glance.
