Jeff - As you can see
in this image, the path to your templates might be more than just "Cakewalk Content." Try "D:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR Platinum\Project Templates" (without the quotes). Then see if you can open a new project. You might have to close and restart SONAR.
If that didn't work, you have to find those templates. Go back to
Preferences|File|Folder Locations and on the right side of the
Templates line click the "Browse" button (note: it's the button with "..." on it). You'll see standard Windows file dialog, and your job is to search for the correct "Project Templates" folder and select it, then click "OK."
Let us know if this gets you back up. Note that you might have to go down that whole list of locations in "Preferences" and repeat this process.
