Funny thing. The update was posted for download at 2:43 this morning, right in the middle of my 4:20. Funny how that works!

REAPER Rocks, can't wait until they make the GUI and menu systems a bit better, more friendly perhaps, but I don't think those things rate very highly on their list, and there are plenty of 3rd party stuff available.

I see it's ok to have Reaper threads . . . you guys aren't fanboi's are you ? . . . just checking

Moving forward with video integration, and will likely follow the Sony model. The rest of the improvements escape me. Hell of a fine program however. What else escapes me is how they managed to deliver such a powerhouse in an 8 meg file. (fast lane excess for the 64 bit version. Bloated to 11 megs). Not too far in the distant past, they had pride in that the whole program could be saved on a 3.5 floppy.

The REAMENU system is very nice.  Get that, the SWS extensions and the RADO V4 theme and you're rockin'.  There are a couple of other really nice themes too.  Let's see, Apollo and TheBlackFace are also nice as is Konzentration_V11.  Also hunt ED's toolbar for RADO.  Pure sweetness

I do wish Justin would charge an extra $10 and pay somebody to that knows interfaces to fix up something nice.

Bob,

Never understood why we need another interface, though always room for improvement.. Potential problem I see for a newcomer is the non standard workflow, and that many up front needed commands are buried deep several mouse clicks away. The hidden stuff can always be assigned to hot keys, but not the most intuitive program out of the box. Can fully empathized why many are turned off and can't figure out what the hell is going on.

Can only advise to put a few minutes a day trying to navigate through what the devs have done and wrap brain around an alien mindset. Right mouse click on anything is your friend. Expands and explains what otherwise doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Many tutorials on YouTube as well.

With some sweat and tears, Light Comes, like the ancient heathens advised us.
