Hi Friends , i was working today , opened a project and when i hit play it dropouts direct ...

After minutes of stress i siolated the issue , but it's super weird ...no matter how many FX how many tracks ....the only thing that make the dropout is a specific clip , in this case "snare !!"

Believe it or not , i erased all the tracks and kept only one track , the snare !! and it's dropping out !!!!!

Any clue   ,cause i wanted to bounce this but it can't , real time record , same ...this snare is hunted !!

EDIT : it's not even structured so only 4 bars lopping , i tried to save as cakewalk bundle project , didn't solved the issue (not surprising since nothing fragmented , only 4 bars full clip data )

snif snif ...

If it's the same problem I have  it happens all too often & for no apparent reason.
First try the Recompute Picture feature, if that doesn't work export it as a new clip (raw, w/o any fx's etc.)
Archive the original clip, import the new & see if it stops the dropout problem.

Or do you possibly have a malicious effect directly attached to that audio clip?

have you try 'freeze' the track?

Thks guyz for the help ...so freeze doesn t work zero fx here ... zero fx of course ... i tried the picture thing( first reflex as well as bounce )

Trying as i type exporting ....

Edit : i expoorted and erase the clip , closed the project and re imported the new one ...seems to works ...

Thks but that said i don t like this kinda things ...never experienced that back then....i hope bakers will have a look at it ..i even recheck my sdd optimisation ect ...

Last time i experienced this , this was because track layers , i had to bounce to clip all layers ....
Never had such an issue with old sonar with wak asss hdd and system ...

Thks again guyz ...i can alwayz count on you in here ...i appreciate ...

The same effect by digitizing tapes.
I guess all 10.000 clips there is one who is corrupt. I think this is up to the caching of the INTERN harddisc. Some data in the file is corrupt. Since we work with a very good NAS (Synology) the problem no longer occurs. So I guess its up to the intern harddisc.
Bouncing, exporting and importing ... does not help. The corrupt data remains.
Sometime it does help when you apply an audio effect to the file. Like an equalizer with all filters at 0. So the data is rendered.

Sounds like the issue I am having, (one of them, which is probably related to my others)  See my post "mind boggling vanishing clips".  I just posted a link to a screen capture video in which, what you describe, is exactly what is happening to me.  Sorry that I don't have a solution for you, yet.   https://youtu.be/PgIigvvLjx4

Though in this example, the recorded clip isn't vanishing.  It just will not play.  However, after closing and reopening it, it plays. (sometimes).
I feel your pain!
