The bank numbers Roland .ins file available at http://www.cakewalk.com/S...Instrument-Definitions
show the following bank numbers:
Banks 11202 (PRESET C 1-128: strings etc) and 11206 (PRESET G 1-128; soft pads etc). They used to play, until I added banks for two expansion cards. Now these two banks and the first bank of each Expansion card does not play.
 
All the other banks (including those of the expansion cards) show up fine in Sonar, and play their sounds.
 
Expansion cards: the first bank of each does not play: 11911 and 11923
 
Here is how I calculated:
The Roland Expansion Card states for Bank 1 select:
MSB = 93
LSB = 7
 
Using the formula (MSB number x 128) + LSB number, the above Bank select should thus be: (93x128=11904) + 7 = 11911
 
There is nothing wrong on the SonicCell's side, as far as I can tell. All the patches play fine using an external keyboard.
