Advice: Post 25 comments on other forum members songs (it's the rules) and then you can post a link and then we will check you out.

Hi Eric,

You need 25 posts before you can post a link (that's to discourage spammers), but here's the link;

Heavy track! I like the interplay between guitars & drums, very tightly played.

Well, This is definitely not my genre, nor would it ever be my genre, it's to loud and noisy and 3:32 minutes of the same ole thing. It needs more instrumentation and direction. Some kind of lead guitar work in there some where. It is a very dark piece and I'm more into the light of music atmosphere. I guess if this is where you want to go musically, then have at it, but listen to the other music on this forum that play the darker stuff and learn from them. This is just my personal opinion, some people will enjoy it, maybe!! Have a great and wonderful holiday.

Peace and Blessings, John

Eric, I think think the drums need to come up in the mix. A powerful song needs a powerful foundation. That snare should be more in your face, and the kick needs some definition. Try a semi narrow boost in the 4 to 5k region. Lastly, what effects do you have on your guitars? I'm detecting some phase issues. Try mixing them without any effects first, and see how powerful you can get the mix. Then slowly add a little. You'll likely find that the guitars sound better with less effects on them. Just some ideas. :) Oh, and how about some vocals?
