Great! Just the guy I want to see!!! I am on Win7 x64, I am trying to manually extract the 1st sound file but continue to get a 'Path too long' error on some of the files in the zip file. I have moved the .zip to a folder one level above root but still get the error.

Reading the manuals I don't see anything about extracting the files so could I be going about this the wrong way?
The main file extracted just fine but I'm too chicken to just go ahead and try to install it without confirmation.

Kind regards,
Rick

I replied on our forum - support will have a workaround posted as a FAQ but I believe it is simply to extract to a folder with a short name (like "MP2") at the root of whatever drive you are using and it should work.  Sorry to not have more direct experience with it but I'm not on Windows (though from my experience this should work).

Thanks for the Quick reply! I see the work around on the Ik Forum.  Will give that a shot.

Kind regards,
Rick

installed and brief test using both mp2 and st3. There is an issue being discussed on the IK forum that the mp2 grand piano fails to load. A few people are having the same issue so it may just be with the file that contained the piano.  I'm sure they will get it fixed soon.

My real gripe is that the UI is just like st3 in that you cannot make it any larger. Hard for me to see at 1920 x 1080.

There are definitely many small problems, including huge latency, poor/few round-robins, resetting of defaults, etc. A bit disappointed - I don't think this was tested much on PCs as most of the issues I and others see are immediately obvious.

I would make it against the law to not have a resizable GUI. Why have a great product and still have people gripe about it? We have huge curved monitors now, it's the 21st century.

I've DL'd it all. I'll probably install on Sunday but will wait for 2.1 to come out with the fixes to the piano etc.
