bitflipper, I just installed the free version of Kotelnikov thanks to this thread. I love it's smoothness. I get the impression from the tutorial video that, if used properly, the GE rivals even something like DrMS. Would you say that's reasonable to assume?

There are some commonalities between Kotelnikov and DrMS, insofar as both offer M/S processing. However, what they each do to the sum and difference components is quite different.
 
Actually, I can't think of any plugin that's comparable to Kotelnikov. It's unique, as far as I know.

Thanks for the tip Bitflipper!  I am quickly becoming a big fan of the Kotelnikov.  I had never heard of it but thanks to your sharing.....it's now in the arsenal and becoming a "go-to" for me.
