So these last few months I've had no luck getting in contact with Cakewalk Support. I have upgraded to a new laptop/Windows 10, Intel 7 8gb ram, 1tb hard drive. 2.8-3.5ghz
I'm using the Scarlett 2i4 interface. Sonar x3 64bit
I had no issues on my windows 8.1 platform with midi
I have downloaded/upgraded everything that i can possibly think of, even some programs I've never used.
Since purchasing this laptop/re installing countless times, I have had major problems with latency via Midi and USB.
I've also had crashes due to the NEW medolyne 4 update. Causing sonar to not Open, i have had to uninstall medolyne due to this problem. I have never experienced these problems
Here's the deal, my setup/ASIO/Buffer size, I have tried EVERY setting Khz, Millsecs, every option available
And i always have this half second delay, I used to be able to adjust easily, but now every option available, If i set it to the lowest depth i experience complete Audio dropouts, if it even decides to play!
I am out of options from what i have researched these last 4 months
it's to the point I am willing to throw out the $500 what i paid for sonar producer, for Abeleton Live 9, I've been a loyal cakewalk dude for 12 years. With no Customer support and all these problems.
I'm needing some help how to solve this problem.
It may be something simple. I have already tried a NEW project without any FX. That didnt solve, Regardless I've had nothing but Latency and i am unable to record midi with sonar. Not cool
