I just stumbled on to this update. Useful plugin. Terrific price! No exchange rate worries! No VAT!

From that web page:

PanCake is a free plugin that allows you to create most flexible panning modulations.

You can construct your own modulation curves in a very intuitive manner. Waveforms can be easily drawn using soft or hard control points, thus producing gentle transitions or sharp bends in the waveform.

Its LFO speed can be set synced to your DAW, from a fast 1/128 note modulation up to 32 bars. It can also be set free-running from 0.02 Hz to 5.24 kHz.

PanCake's LFO will always stay in sync, even when you make tempo changes in your host software, or jump ahead to different parts of your track.

Absolutely everything in PanCake can be automated. Even the shape of the modulating waveform can be automated. And if you want to use different modulation curves in a song, you can automate the plugin to switch between them.

New in version 2: A precise display of channel left/right volume for helpful visual control, an option to trigger the LFO via MIDI notes, a dry/wet control, plus a redesigned interface.

Best of all, PanCake is completely free! No login, no registration required.

There are free plugins and there are excellent plugins, but those two classes rarely intersect. PanCake represents a true rarity in the plugin world: not only is it free, it's also one of the very best of its type at any price.

NOTE: For those who never read the readme file first, Cableguys recommends deleting the old DLL first.
NOTE2: Uses an installer, and it always assumes \program files\steinberg\vstplugins as the installation path, so you'll probably want to change that to \program files\cakewalk\vstplugins.

I have had the occasional problem changing default installation directories, so I tend not to do that. In this case, and since other plugins default to that folder, I just add it to the scan list in SONAR (and others).
