My 2 cents after listening to the demos - I like East West Symphonic Orchestra better than this (based on the demos). It certainly has a LOT more to offer than the original version (which was recently on sale for $49 US). The intro upgrade price is definitely a good value, but if I were paying full price I think I'd go with EWSO. But that's me.

The software does seem to be much easier to work with than the original - it has keyswitches for articulations! That I like. If I only had the original library, it would be a good upgrade. The full price of Miroslav 2 is about the same as the full price for EWSO Gold and IMHO EWSO Gold has more to offer. And EWSO is on sale for 1/2 price...

I already have East West Gold as well...and for $10 more I can get Albion Legacy,
which is 10 times the product...

Why didn't they post "sound demo's"?  Why take pre-orders "in the blind"?  Oh yes,
I forgot, it's "business" and, as we all know "business" is about "money"....

There's not even a video....very sad

Can you buy it from the SampleTank Custom Shop and use gear credits?

I was on the fence but I had some extra gear credits so I went ahead and pre-ordered in the Custom Shop.

I qualify for the 50 jampoints which would give me 180.  So, what is it...30% or something that you can use jampoints for??

Yup the most you can use on $199 is 59 jam points.

I have always rounded it off higher (at say 60) and they always went through. Just sayin'

The CHEAPEST way to get this is through credits.  Buy 200 credits for $159.99 minus 48 jampoints = $111.99.
and you're all set...you get it for $112.  Disadvantage is you can't resell it buying with credits through the CS...

I am still confused about how to purchase this with both credits and jampoints.  I have 134 credits, plus 181 Jampoints.  Exactly how do I get this for the best USD$$?  Do I just purchase 75 gear credits, use 30% jampoints and that means $52.50 USD?  Is that the most ecomomical way or is there another route?

Thanks for helping me figure this out.

How do you actually achieve using jam points and gear credits in the Sample Tank Custom Shop?   I seem to only be able to choose one or the other.

FYI: IKMultimedia just updated the Miroslav2 page; the Sounds page lists the details of the various new instruments and articulations [Edit:  I am wrong; the Sounds page was there all along; my error was noted later in this thread.  Sorry.]

You can't use BOTH.  You can only use one or the other.  At checkout in the CS there is
a spot for inputting Jampoints if you choose to "BUY" or you can choose "CREDITS".
In the Store you can only use Jampoints.

So the most efficient thing to do is use JAMPOINTS to buy CREDITS and the price
gets down to $112 as outlined in my post above...

Darn, if I'd only known this was pending I could have saved some money instead of buying ST3 just so I could continue using Miroslav.
Same here.
This is first of ST3 products to really get me interested. That said between my Kirk Hunter stuff and EW composer cloud supplemented by Miroslave and the Kontakt factory library I am well covered. I will think long and hard before dropping the cash.
