This is probably pilot error, but Ripple Editing has stopped working 100% on my system. In particular, markers are no longer moving with the timeline as I edit. When first released it all worked correctly but in the last week or so it stopped.

Is there a special setting I'm forgetting about?

Are you sure you're selecting Ripple Edit All, and not Ripple Edit Selection.

Hey, you may be on to something. I used to use edit all, but it was cutting multiple tracks at one time. Using edit selection only affects a single track. I didn't realise it didn't work the same. I'll get back to the manual and double check.

Yep, that's the problem promidi. Many thanks.

Thew local docs don't even include ripple editing and the online docs are sparse. Now I have to figure out why using Edit All is crossing the boundaries of the track I'm working on. I select a range of data on 1 track and it gets deleted from every track. Nothing about that in the online help. Bummer.

Have you updated the local documentation (This can be done via CCC) ?  I opened the CHM help file that I have on my system, and there are many references to ripple editing in there.

I have the reference manual that's available now via CCC. No mention of Ripple Editing. As usual, now that I understand how Sonar wants you to operate I can work with it. I think it's too bad you can't use Edit All with multiple tracks.
