Birds of a feather...

Do you have your liver left to sell?

I'm practically on life support ATM......multiple organ failure with no string support.

Go to a Laundromat and steal some ones shreddies, then do what you do so well.

Other than Emotive Strings being half price for a precious short time, why is anyone posting about Emotive Strings?

I'm trying to understand what it has that is worth the $145.

I heard the German speaker talking over some folks playing. Otherwise I see no demos or explanation of what is has.

Why is anyone interested? I'm asking, not criticizing. I haven't seen anything informative about it.

Please inform.

Thanks Bapu. After watching those short clips I felt a sense of relief. Nothing there that perked my interest. I already have Albion One.

Agreed.  If you don't have one, you gotta have one.  But I don't see a reason to have both.  If I was to pick one, I'd go with Albion, but it is more costly, thusly E.S. sounds like a great choice!

Lawajava... ES offers a large number [28 gigs] of triggerable "phrases" playable in a variety of ways. It is nothing like the Albions or other sampled libraries.

Lots of demos for action strings including the multi hour Daniel James vid... Don't know why emotive got little attention other than it was released when lots of other big packages were coming out...

You can't replicate the real played bowing and lovely organic neuances of real orchestral runs/phrases... Whether this appeals to you is a personal decision. But Sonokenetic and N I phrase librarys are pretty awesome and result in a very different approach to composing and coming up with ideas. The phrases can become fundamental to an idea, much like a synth arp.

I've been ratholing duckets waiting for a fantastic Sonokenetic sale all year but their sales just suck...I ended up grabbing Emotive as it complements action string phrases very nicely; very happy i gotta it. It also complements the Albion's...neither does what the other does

Particularly, in a context of pop song writer, I'm wondering if all the phrases are really playable in the sense that (even if there is a large variety of phrases) if we can find exactly the motif which will follow your own melody. Maybe it's more aimed at intros, bridges, riffs, some transitions.. but for accompanying the proper harmony of a specific composition, it could be rather tricky.
And precisely, if considering the runs, scales, rips... are maybe the most "useful" part, does Cinestrings Runs from Cinesample represent maybe a better alternative ( better Sounds, functionalities...) ?
