I like my Faderport, but I've never needed any support from them.

Just got a Faderport and it works in SONAR, Reaper, Studio One 3 (uh... DUH!!!) and Mixbus 3.

The only thing I do not understand is why the fader does not reflect the track selected fader level. What did I miss in the setup? The fader does write automation as expected.

Make sure you have the AC adapter fully plugged in. I had the exact problem you described twice, and both times the AC adapter had become unplugged.

Also, I don't know which windows version you're using, but this might help too. It did for me.

Well I assume that since the transport controls work and I programmed the "user" button to be a go to next marker and that works too, as well (as I said) I can write automation; can I assume the AC adapter must be plugged in properly?

Transport controls and user buttons will work with the USB alone. The AC adapter is for the motorized fader.

There is a way to tell if the AC adapter is working/connected correctly or not.

Does the fader move on its own?

If you change fader levels with your mouse on a selected track, does your Faderport's fader follow?

Yes, as I said, I can write automation.

Sorry, reread your first post. If the motorized fader is not following the selected track's fader, then you either have a problem with the AC adapter, or the motorized fader is faulty. Did you try plugging it in to a different outlet?
