I'm starting to really like Revalver 4. It's cool when get to thinking..."I wish it had this or that" and you remember you can load in any vst you want. I'm using Valhallavintageverb and TDR Nova within Revalver and it sounds very good. I'm not sure about the ACT thing yet. I let it sample my Strat and then applied the Standard Les paul to it and set the blend around 50%...pretty cool stuff.

Don't forget the Amp Store, have a browse, some nice stuff to be had there. Forget his name, but some dudes Bass stuff worked quite well from memory, abd there is a lot of nice amps, cabs, pedals and effects to be had. If you end up getting along with the ACT stuff there is also a good range of input and output ACT stuff.

Yeah, I'm just getting into the ACT stuff. It's pretty interesting. A funny thing. The wife and I just happened onto a Duran Duran concert on Netflix the other day (she's a big fan). John Taylor has a nice sounding bass. There is some ACT stuff from him in there I may check out.
I'm about to watch some youtube videos on ACT and see if I can learn something.

Well I bought it. It was only $49.99 so...why not.

My first impression is it's well worth the $49.99.

So you must have owned v3dot5 then ? yeah well that would make it an almost no brainer.

One thing I forgot (and I'm sure you are all over it) is the tweaking to be had down at the amp component level/schematics, I liked the old 3dot5 tweaking better than 4, seemed more intuitive/easier, I would just mainly mess around with valves and bias etc, but it gives noticeable results, and sometimes can help get you to where you want to be if you are close but not quite there.

I was looking for the tubes in the Peavey Valve King and couldn't find them (I do know where the schematics are)...I may have to read the manual at some point! Hahaha. There is definitely a ton of toys for the tone tweaker in Revalver 4.
Yes I did own III.V, but I hardly ever used it. Probably a mistake on my part as I'm almost sure R4 will be my high gain amp sim. $49.99 for the Producer's Pack was a steal.

If you right click on the Amp the schematics should be in the drop down list.
And while you are in the right click menu on the Amp, have a look at the other stuff, you'll have impedance stuff and quality settings etc.
