I don't know ..but have they really remove the option  "remove double midi notes" ? after  recording some instrument
it was I think it was in the prosses tab ..?
it's gone now..nowhere to find..I looked everywhere..so I think after de last update or so they removed it or maybe renamed it ..I don-t know but I like to get that back because now I have to remove them manually whiths is time consuming.

I don't ever remember this setting in the process tab. I do however believe there is a CAL Script for it.

There is a CAL script for this.  It's called Unduplicate.cal
 
Select the track(s) that contains the duplicate notes.  Menu item Process | Run Cal and choose Unduplicate.cal
 
Enter the value that determines how close the notes have to be to be deemed a duplicate.

Hit OK. Duplicate notes, be gone!

The KEY for UNDUPE.CAL to work is: ENSURE THAT ALL EVENTS ARE SELECTED IN ONLY 1 CLIP.
