Hi everyone.
I am new to this forum but I have been involved in music for many years and even written and performed my own songs. However until recently I have been unable to record them as I want them to be heard until  I found Sonar X2 and do it myself. I have a lot to learn as I have only just started to use a computer for recording.  I have waisted alot of money in the past going to record studios and being told how they should be recorded. Not to the way I like them to be heard. A friend of mine who is a member of this forum suggested I should post one of my songs so that others can hear it.
My first one is a lullaby that has been floating around in my head since 1995 and only now  have I had an opportunity to record it. I wrote it for a musical stage show.

I haven't posted in quite some time. Just wanted to say I listened to all your posted songs and think that there's some incredible stuff yiou have there. Very, very live theater worthy.
 
No offense but it sounds like a high tenor male voice performing. Is that a male or female vocalist? Your name implies female.
 
This is not a critique but simply an observation that it sounds as though these are recordings of live performances instead of studio recordings. You may well have intended them to sound that way.
 
Kind of reminds me of this early recording of Barbara Streisand. Not the vocal sound but the genre.

Really nice stuff there Sandra! Probably a very limited audience but I like it. It's a refreshing departure from the Rap, Hip Hop, Techno genres.

Just to let you all know that I am singing and performing my own songs and yes I am a lady with a tenor type voice. 
I have recorded them as if they were live on stage sitting in the audience, No enhancements. No cover ups. No voice correction. All me. I play the piano parts as well. I know my songs are not commercial enough but they suit people who go to stage shows etc. That,s my audience. I know all about the music business, My last gig was at the Royal Opera House in 2000, after that I quit the madness, older and wiser now. I would like other people to sing my songs.
