Here's one that's making me feel like an idiot.
 
SONAR Platinum.  Message "Master tracks are currently assigned to silent hardware output. They need to be re-assigned"
 
I need to reassign outputs. I thought I already did. I'm using Steinberg UR44 (latest drivers etc) but this came up all of the sudden on ALL PROJECTS.

Glad you figured out the problem. You should mark this post solved in the heading and maybe tell us how you resolved it so it may help someone else.

It was way too easy. Right click on the SEND button in the buss and choose the proper output. Mine was not show my interface as an option until I updated drivers and rebooted. SOLVED !
