Hold off before you turn the bass down.  It sounded good on my monitors, and it has that 80's "beefy" sound.  I'm starting to think, nowadays, that people are mixing thin to accommodate laptops and earbuds.  This mix sounds full and well balanced.  Nice job.

Your vocal is strong, and reminds me a bit of Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden).  The song/mix sounds pretty good to me overall, but I think the snare could use a bit more "pop/snap", and maybe a bit more treble on the cymbals/hat.  This is a matter of personal preference, but I think the drum performance is a bit too laid back for this style of song.

I would have to agree with Walt on the snare and cymbals. But, like he said, that could be a matter of taste. Overall it sounds pretty balanced, although you could pan a few things out to ad a bit of width to the over all project. Vocals sound good except for the very beginning IMO. Nice song though.
