Just picked up MCDSP Futzbox and Channel G during the 60% off sale going on until the 30th.  Channel G is tres fab...but the Futzbox is a true wonder!  Tons and tons of impulse selections to start off your audio madness.  Do yourself a favor and watch some vids on it or, better yet, demo the dern thing.  It does require and iLok account if that matters to you.
 
Also have noticed some random stutters even though neither seems to hard on the CPU.  But I'm running them in VST3 latest mode.  Hopefully the newest update to SPlat...which I'm going to install today might remedy this.
 
 

I've been on the fence about this one - but ya just talked me into it!

the name makes me want to buy it even if I don't know what it does.

I did some experimenting today and found that with midi/audio combo tracks or simple instrument tracks I got infrequent, random stutters in playback with the McDSP plugs...as I stated above. However, when used on audio tracks no such problems occurred. So mixing over tracking works best.

@BD...check out some YouTube vids on the Futzbox...its hella fun!

Ol pal ...i tried those back then since i have 50 edu price on em .... To unstable ....i was mortified since those are exellent plugin....but no way i got those at this stage of coding ....

Well, you might be right, ol pal. I'll keep ya posted. I hope not though because...as you say...they are very good plugs.

I woll give it another try .... but i usually smell sonar 3rd party love affaire style very quikly .....
