Is there any way to "group" an FX chain? Allow me to hopefully clarify what I'm talking about...
Say you have two dueling lead guitar tracks and want to use the same plugins (which of course could be many) along with their settings on both tracks, to obtain exactly the same sound. The easiest way that I know of to accomplish this would be to create an FX chain on the first track, place all plugins into it, adjust each plugin's settings, then copy the chain to the second track.
The issue in this situation becomes changing plugins and/or plugin settings in the original FX chain. What I'd like to be able to do is automatically keep the copy of the chain on the second track exactly "in sync" with the original chain that I created on the first track. I know I could make changes to the chain on the first track, then re-copy it over to the second, but it sure would be nice to be able to avoid having to do that. What's even worse, I think it might be easy for some folks to forget to do that re-copy.
Anyway, think of it as a fader group, only using FX chains instead. Seems like a nit, but it sure would be a nice feature.
Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have, besides what I've mentioned already!
