iReal Pro is one of the best things out there when it comes to low cost , simplicity  and useable features …
Unfortunately,  it's pretty much Mac only , unless you have one of the smart phones it will run on ..

Thanks, Kenny.  I don't do iStuff, but there might be some iPeople out there that appreciate knowing about it.

Today I whipped out a progression with ChordPulse, picked a style and saved as MIDI.  Dragged the file into Sonar with an instance of TTS-1.  It was super quick and easy to have it playing in Sonar, ready for additions, tweaks and replacements.  Very kool piece of kit.

I will likely go ahead and upgrade my ancient BIAB version with the current MegaPak just because I can for what appears to be a really good deal.  We'll see what Black Friday brings.

In the mean time, ChordPulse is perfectly capable of providing a conduit between my head and Sonar.

Yep, been playing around with the demo of ChordPulse and I kinda like it.  I think I'll probably pick it up; can be a bit of a time saver at trying out variations of progressions if nothing else.

Thanks Bjornpdx for introducing me to chordpulse. Never heard of it before but I see I will use it to scratch out ideas. Thanks!
