I finally remembered to download the free version and it's really good, at least to me. I used it to tame a kinda piercing female vocal on just certain notes. Worked well. I like the gui much better than the melda plugs... not saying it's better sounding necessarily but it makes me feel like it is.

I'm a big fan of Tokyo Dawn and Melda Productions. The Melda gui's have grown on me and I'm now a fan of those too. With MautodynamicEQ I'm not sure what Nova does for me, but it's another excellent plugin from TDR. I love the Slick EQ GE and Kotelnikov GE. Awesome plugins.

I've got the MDynamic EQ that I use on most every mix in some way. I'm pretty used to the gui, but I just like using the Nova better. I don't like it enough to get the GE version and if I need expansion then MDynamic EQ is there.
 
And this is after trying it out for a few days. Time will tell whether or not it stays in my list of most used plugs.
And you're right, the TDR stuff rocks!
