Who says the Portuguese have no sense of humor? Not me. I especially loved the full title of the film that they reveal at the end! Now that's funny, right there!

don't think I will see the second film either. I refuse to see the first, until such a day as the bastard sends an apology to Roger Dean and a check as well, would be nice!

I understand why some people were reluctant to go see Avatar. The story is derivative (someone called it "Dancing with Smurfs") and the dialog could have been written for an 8th grade writing assignment.
 
But visually, it is nothing short of a masterpiece. It's a must-see (only on the big screen in 3D, though) if you want to glimpse the future of three-dimensional visuals. Warning: watch it stoned at your own risk.
 
Also, the music is quite good. Lots of Omnisphere in it.
