What do you think of this alternative reason to freeze:  To "future proof" projects.  I've opened very old projects and for some reason I no longer have the original plugins or patches that were used for samplers, and thank goodness I froze them because the audio is there as I originally intended.

Frozen tracks don't include bus effects, only track effects.
After the freeze, the tracks routed through a bus or using a send effect will still be so routed/sent and sound the same.
