better than mine..
i use a carvin LB70 bass (active) into a sansamp bass di, mostly.
sometimes i split the signal, and send it to my boogie for some 'grunt', then run the sansamp cleaner, then blend the two together, usually send them to a buss with a limiter across it, just kissing the tops.
so you should be able to get what you want out of the farm, for sure....
maybe it's just too aggressively high passing?
don't know....
it's a great bass line, let it shine.
