Walt and
Herb: Thank you both for your advice on the vocals. I appreciate it. At my advancing stage of maturity (how do you like that for saying old) my pipes are resisting singing. I was going for a different sound on this one and thought of the group sing style of the Hollies but I was dreaming -- I can't hit those notes that Graham Nash used to get. I hadn't intended for there to be a lead vocal -- maybe I should re-think that. I can go back and fiddle with the volume and EQ but I'll have to study up on Melodyne. I am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to devices such as that. I am working on 2 or 3 other numbers right now, so it might be a little while before I get back to fixing up the vocals (unless my OCD gets the best of me ---lol). Thanks again.
Hey
Warren: Thanks for the feedback. Ya, the lead is a bit different than most. I'm not sure about it either. I was going for a bit of a chaotic feeling that one might feel in such a relationship. I guess I might have over-thought that? ;>) I'm really enjoying the new stuff that you are putting out . Thanks again.
Hi
Bapu! The harms are live or as alive as I can make them. I was going for that '60's sound, so I'm glad that I got somewhere close with this number. Thanks for the listen and comments.
Thank you
John. The vocals seem to be the main point of concern with this song. I am going to have to go back and fiddle around with them and maybe do a re-do? I appreciate your input. Thanks.
Hey
Mark. Thank you buddy. I have really been enjoying the songs that you have been putting out with Warren and others. Not only are they well done but they are very creative. Thanks again.
Robaaay! How are you! Love myself? Oooooh, no I don't think we are talking about the same thing. :>) Thanks for the kind comments!
