I thought that the vox were specially effected to sound that way... kinda retro but not fully.

Well, I really like this.  Cool arrangement.  When we had our acoustic quartet I loved singing this song.  Then in the blues bands we had a bit different arrangement.  THIS is really a great cut.  I agree with the vocal mix crits.  She (the current Mrs.Daryl1968) does a really nice job on this.  I really enjoyed listening.  I listened yesterday o my phones and today on the monitors.  I really liked the mix better in my monitors.  That's a bit unusual for me.
