This is my first attempt at a dance track.  Been working on this for a few weeks now, and just added some guitar to the middle drum break.  I think it's done, but perhaps there are some things I've missed that you folks may hear.  As always, I appreciate your time to listen, and I hope you enjoy it!

Dance tracks are not generally my thing but this has a decent 80s vibe to it. Production is top notch.

Thanks Bapu!  I tend to do a lot of retro sounding stuff, be it rock or electronica.  I appreciate the listen and your comments!

Glad you like it Tim.  You know a lot more about electronic music than I do so that's a pretty good compliment!  Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

what Ed said...
it really is an excellent production... I could have danced all night... back in the day, if I felt like it... and had the right drugs and lady to grope... but I digress...
Well done Walt...

As noted by Frank the situation and mind frame could help this, having said that the production does sound very accomplished.

Thanks for sharing.

Good production even sounds nice even on my crappy monitor speakers, will have another listen when I'm back on my studio machine. Transitions from one musical idea to the next are pretty seamless and work well especially when you move to the guitar section. :thumbs up:

Thanks Frank!  Your productions are always fantastic so a compliment from you goes a long way. :)  I've never been much of a dancer, but my music seems to be taking me there sometimes recently.  Maybe some day I'll get a DJ gig or something crazy like that.  Not looking forward to any gear lugging though... my back isn't what it used to be.

Thanks for taking a listen Wookiee.  Wow, everyone seems to like this production.  I just wish I personally liked dance music more than I do. ;)  This is really a departure from pretty much everything I've done in previous decades.

Thanks biodiode.  I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment!  As for the guitar break, it was originally only the drums soloing, but I decided a week or so ago that it needed something more, so I grabbed my Strat and opened up Guitar Rig 5 and started jamming over it until I found some things that were working.  I'm glad you found the transitions smooth, as I was a little concerned that they might not match up with the rest of the production.
