I have some situations that I want to make a staccato on a wind instrument with midi notes.
After recording, I realize that some notes are very long, throughout the whole sequence.
I would like to know if there is any quick way to "compress" note length, ie for example, notes above 500 ticks should be limited to 500 ticks, and all notes below 500 ticks should remain unchanged.
In time, I'm trying to do this with the Process-> Find/Change, changing "duration", but it's NOT WORKING. In this case, all durations are getting 0.
 

What are you setting the Minimum duration to in the first screen of the Find/Replace dialogue?
