I saw this today and was impressed by it. Having seen what Melda has done with the concept of "Multi-Band", I thought this was like the next step up. I was wondering has anyone tired this plug?

What got me looking at this today I was looking at the free stuff from Blue Cat Audio. Man I thought Melda's freebie was nice, but this one is on par with it in terms of "quality for free" Not as many free plugs as Melda, but really nice none the less.

have you had any issues with working with your VST plugins?

It is an interesting plug-in/plug-in host.

Instead of being a one trick multiband plug-in - you decide what each band does.
Want to compress & distort your bass, put a delay on the mids and flange your highs - go for it, just drop the appropriate plugins in the desired bands.
Or just use as an EQ.
It doesn't have the builtin band modulations options that say Melda's multibands do (to for example put an LFO on x-over frequency between 2 bands) but that's hardly a show stopper.

It does take a little more thought that just dropping in an effect plug-in and walking through presets but it can have it's uses.
If you're curious about it try it out.
