Didn't happen to me. In fact it has never happened yet. Weird.

It has happened every time on my studio pc, but not always my laptop.

Strange it only happens on some systems. Are you guys using default install locations? I am.

Yes, defaults.  I only get this on 'big' W10 updates, so about every few months or so. Such updates seem to alter a component(s) of the 'computer ID' code that AD2 sets on its install so AD2 can't recognise the PC anymore.

I wish someone would  create a computer/os that would be smart enough to know about such policies.  I have had to reactivate Addictive Drums more than once..or, maybe Addictive Drums should get their act together.

Same happened here (i think). The program says I am not the host computer. I have refreshed/ ran update through command center but I still have the same prob. What are you all doing to get it working?
Thanks

Go to https://www.xlnaudio.com/myaccount-mycomputers
Remove the pc you are using, and add it again.

Thanks Zargg. One question though. If it was installed via the cakewalk command center.....would I have an account at XLN? I'm not at the machine currently to attempt anything.

XLN is the manufacturer of AD2. You (probably) used their "Online Installer" to install it in the first place.

That's how I have had to manage all XLN installations.  Addictive drums, keys, reauthorisations after major Windows updates, etc.
