Oh Man you guys have no Idea how much I need to hear this 
I feel Like an old  Hairy dude that lost his tribe and got stuck in an Elevator Music Hell for the last 5 weeks 
 
The thing that Impresses me the most about this recording is somehow you guys have managed to use the digital medium to produce and capture some very righteous sounding authentic analog sounding classic Blues Grit Tones...
 
alright what did you guys do ?  
did you borrow a time machine ,  go back in time and rob a pawnshop of a bunch of old amps , guitars and mics to achieve this sound ? 
 
love the harp , slide , and just about all the sounds I'm hearing sound very familiar to me ..

Kenny, wow!  Very kind words.  Mark does the engineering work and really did pull some old tricks outta his bag.  I never got my harp to sound like that through amps or DI.  I'm going to go to California and sleep on his porch till he tells me how he did it.  I am so glad that you liked it, Kenny.  Thanks so much!!

Pure no nonsense grit from the masters.  It makes me wish I'd have been around while it happened.  Reminds me of the song forum of yore, there's been some good times had here ain't there?

Welcome back, Warren.  I've been away, too, and it's nice to hear some tasty Pugtone blues.  I'm very impressed by your harp playing, and the mix could be coming out of the juke box in my favorite BBQ joint.  I'm looking forward to hearing your next submissions.

This sounds great on my system.  Kick is a bit shy.  I love the slide and harp the mostest.

Well, Herb, thanks.  I just got back up here and my son and his wife popped out another Grandson.  Declan Thomas Willingham.  So, babysitting Silas (3 yrs old) has kept me busy, though I watch him 3 days a week anyway.  Now I'll be wranglin' two of them!  I've started letting Silas sit on my lap and listen to your guys music.  He's already playing my keyboard.  he got sounds I didn't know were on it.  Next, NOTES!  Ha.

Well, thanks, Jon.  I wish you had been here too.  I am new here compared to a few of you guys (2008) and do miss some of the old stuff and people.  The board keeps repopulating itself with talent so it should be around for awhile.  Thanks for listening.  We really appreciate it!
