And then there are the stories of the 90 year old men and women that ate 4 slices of becan EVERY FRICKEN' DAY and never got cancer. Or the stories of the men and women who were vegetarians and still got cancer.

I refuse to live my life by some chart....... unless it says becan is good for me.

Looking at BobF's signature...  It looks like a TOS violation, but I don't seem to recall learning about the verse Bob 3:59 in church...

Don't tell me you believe the food police... they change every few years. Now eggs don't raise your cholesterol. Eat what you like. You're going to die anyway one day, enjoy life! These people likely have agendas or so premise where they throw out everything that does not agree with the "premise", then they state their "facts" as if they really are facts....
Butter, eggs, lard, bacon..er becan, ham, RED MEAT.... are all good for you. They are lying. These things are natural foods.

Oh crap, you mean I might die some day?

This means I may have to switch to eating donuts. I saw a report last week saying that they were better for me than muffins. As JBow mentioned, now they say eggs are actually not that bad for you .....butter as well. Wait till next week, it will all change.

My Mom's doctor said her blood sugar was getting a little too high so we looked at what she consumesduring a week to see what to cut back on.  The results were a bit surprising!

So-called "healthy" stuff (per serving):
  • V8 Fusion (counts as one serving of vegetables and one serving of fruit per glass) - 26 g of sugar
  • Cranberry juice (no sugar added) - 28 g of sugar
  • Yogurt - 29(!) g of sugar
So-called "unhealthy" stuff (per serving):
  • Ice cream - 14 g of sugar
  • Kit-Kat Minis - 13 g of sugar

*Sigh...*
