What amazes me most, and what betrays the fact that the multiculturalist do-gooders, sympathisers, apologists and enablers are winning the propaganda battle, is that whenever these horrific events transpire, the news media goes out of its collective way to always refer to the perpetrators as terrorists. It's almost as if a worldwide memo goes out and reporters and correspondents are instructed to never use the words I***m or M****m. Even when it becomes practically unavoidable, we hear only of a "so called" I*****c State.

History has shown us time and again that once the battle for people's minds is won, the winning of the war becomes a much more viable prospect.

Well, that's because so many of these so-called "terrorists" come from such a wide background of cultures and religions Steve.

There is a difference between those who believe in God, and murder people, and those who believe in God that pray for people. There are alot of things done in the name of God, but that doesn't make it his fault. These people are sick.
I'm not implying that you meant it one way or the other...just my thoughts.

Point taken Clint.

And apologies for my cheap shot dig at all religion; I'll edit away that paragraph because I certainly have no wish to derail this solemn and serious thread and drag it down into a theist/atheist debate.

More than ever, those who believe and those who don't believe need to come together and stand against the ideology that drives its adherents to perform these barbaric acts of inhumanity.

I agree Steve. This is one of those times when all 'sane' people can come together. I hope...
The PC crowd have made this a much more dangerous world, because they refuse the see the truth in front of them.
As an American...I'm relieved to see that so many of you guys from the UK seem to see this as I do.
Yesterday Obama said "Isis is contained". It reminded me of when Bush said "mission accomplished". Both men are fooling themselves.

They aren't fooling themselves.  They're trying to fool the rest of us.

I'm happy to see a lack of sheeple here.

Hi,

Haven't heard from my sister yet ... I'll keep all posted.

I want her out of there so bad! ... places like London, Rome and other big cities are next, I bet! So scary this lunacy!

Obviously, a truly horrible incident and much like 9/11 in NYC the media has been covering the events non-stop.

Hardly ever a word, however, on the tens of thousands of innocents and non-combatants the west coalition's airstrikes have killed in the last few years in Afghanistan, Iraq and now Syria.

The main-stream media, at least in the U.S.,  usually presents one side of the story.

I tend to watch several news stations to both identify and remove as much bias as possible (including Aljazeer's), and thought it interesting how fast leaders from the Middle East put out their own condemnations.  I'm assuming they fully realize that this act will only bring more airstrikes and, most likely, foreign boots on the ground to their neighborhoods.

True enough, but there is also little coverage of ISIS savagely murdering 200 children in Syria:

That's probably because the footage is unconfirmed Bert, nothing new for The Mirror.
