Great production work, great performances and instrumentation.  Very "radio" sounding.  I love it!

Personally, I don't love some of the implications of the lyrics, like "I'll take my chances and my life", as I feel that younger people these days seem to take topics like hopelessness and suicide too casually, and it scares me.  But other than that, great songwriting too!

By the way, there are several misspellings, miscapitalizations and missing apostrophes in your lyric video.  These may not bother a lot of folks, but to some (including me) it comes off as unprofessional.  Thankfully, it's easy to fix these.  Here is a specific list! :)
  1. 365 days of Sun - "sun" should probably not be capitalized, but this could just be an artistic choice.
  2. In the State of Washington - "state" should probably not be capitalized, but again it could be an artistic choice.
  3. Lets take our bags to the beach - "Let's" is a contraction of "let us", and requires an apostrophe when used in this way.
  4. Despite the weather mans prediction - "man's" is possessive and needs an apostrophe.
  5. Lets cruse around - "Let's" needs an apostrophe, and "cruise" is misspelled.
  6. Lets play the lottery - "Let's" again.
  7. And use the numbers in our birthday - This should be "birthdays".  I believe the singer sings it correctly, but your transcription is incorrect.
  8. Lucky for me I happend to be - "happened" is misspelled.
  9. Lets me and you take a canooe - "Let's" again, and "canoe" is misspelled.
  10. Ride down Niagra Falls - "Niagara" is misspelled.
  11. Lets see if we can stop the road runner - "Let's" should have an apostrophe, and "Road Runner" should probably be capitalized as a proper name reference to the cartoon character.
  12. Lets take a swim in the lake - "Let's" again.
  13. During the lightning storm - I believe "the" should be "a", and the singer sang it that way, but your transcription is incorrect.
  14. On Christmas Eve lets stay awake - "let's" again.
  15. Your not the kind of guy - "You're" is a contraction of "you are", and requires an apostrophe.
Sorry to be so nitpicky, but I figured you might appreciate a cut sheet of exactly what needs fixing, rather than just a general complaint. ;)

Walt sure goes the extra mile to help.  Anyone who records a song as well as this is done probably does want to know those things he points out.  I am a HUGE fan of female vocalists and am a fan of this gal now.  You're right that when you start with good material it's easier to do, but it isn't always that way.  You had it all in this song.  Talent on the instruments, vocals and engineering.  Oh, did I say how much I like this?

speedtom - yes she's a big fan of everything 80's and 90's

waltenstein - just like our current "text" generation I was too lazy to do a spell check... LOL, but thanks for viewing the video and taking the time to review. I'll make sure my next lyric video gets the one over my wife who is also a bit nitpicky (sp?) when it comes to spelling...IMHO

You know what's funny? Even I - coming from Germany - stumbled over this thinking "shudn't this be Niagara? but hey, this is the way it is pronounced and maybe the modern way to spell!"  I haven't been to the states for two years, things change quickly these days...

Top notch job on this one. Sounds great. Cool song and all, but the production is really, really well done.

Thanks Dan and Clint. I'll be posting another track from another artist I'm working with. Just vocals and acoustic guitar. A little less produced but the song is amazing
