Great production work, great performances and instrumentation. Very "radio" sounding. I love it!
Personally, I don't love some of the implications of the lyrics, like "I'll take my chances and my life", as I feel that younger people these days seem to take topics like hopelessness and suicide too casually, and it scares me. But other than that, great songwriting too!
By the way, there are several misspellings, miscapitalizations and missing apostrophes in your lyric video. These may not bother a lot of folks, but to some (including me) it comes off as unprofessional. Thankfully, it's easy to fix these. Here is a specific list! :)
- 365 days of Sun - "sun" should probably not be capitalized, but this could just be an artistic choice.
- In the State of Washington - "state" should probably not be capitalized, but again it could be an artistic choice.
- Lets take our bags to the beach - "Let's" is a contraction of "let us", and requires an apostrophe when used in this way.
- Despite the weather mans prediction - "man's" is possessive and needs an apostrophe.
- Lets cruse around - "Let's" needs an apostrophe, and "cruise" is misspelled.
- Lets play the lottery - "Let's" again.
- And use the numbers in our birthday - This should be "birthdays". I believe the singer sings it correctly, but your transcription is incorrect.
- Lucky for me I happend to be - "happened" is misspelled.
- Lets me and you take a canooe - "Let's" again, and "canoe" is misspelled.
- Ride down Niagra Falls - "Niagara" is misspelled.
- Lets see if we can stop the road runner - "Let's" should have an apostrophe, and "Road Runner" should probably be capitalized as a proper name reference to the cartoon character.
- Lets take a swim in the lake - "Let's" again.
- During the lightning storm - I believe "the" should be "a", and the singer sang it that way, but your transcription is incorrect.
- On Christmas Eve lets stay awake - "let's" again.
- Your not the kind of guy - "You're" is a contraction of "you are", and requires an apostrophe.
Sorry to be so nitpicky, but I figured you might appreciate a cut sheet of exactly what needs fixing, rather than just a general complaint. ;)
